*THE AUDIO WORKS IF YOU GO ONTO MY HOME PAGE AND WATCH THE VIDEO THERE.* I was doing some ground work with Teddy today and I decided to film it and show everyone. It could be educational in some ways, maybe you could learn something from this? “I need you to trust me. I will never hit or hurt you. I can prove to you I’m a good leader. I will be your bestfriend. You can always rely on me. Together we work as a team. Together we will achieve greatness. Together we are one.” I haven’t copied and pasted that from anything, I wrote it myself. It’s actually similar to what runs through my head as I work with Teddy. I want him to have a choice. “I would appreciate it if you could just move over there please.” not “Move over there or I shall force you to, I am the boss and you shall do as you’re told.” If he doesn’t want to do what I ask him to, then I’m asking too much. I can trust his judgement as well as my own. If the task is easy/simple and he doesn’t want to comply, then I must be at fault. So there you go, I just randomly wrote some of my views on horse training. I’m not a follower of Parelli or Monty Roberts, or any other natural horsemanship group (although I admire them all). This is how I train, it isn’t Parelli, it isn’t any other natural horsemanship training program, it’s my way- it’s what works for me. Mind you, this is just desensitizing. when you bounce the ball in front of him his head goes up and down and like follows it ..
for the mud fever problem my horse had it and i put white king on it and it went almost immediently i hope that it gets better soon
I wish I could do this with my pony. He’s such a miserable little bugger, I say one word to him and he looks away or pins his ears. Used to be able to sit up on his back all day and he wouldn’t mind, now he’s annoyed at everything I do. I haven’t abused him, he’s always well looked after, he’s in good health, I just dunno what’s wrong.
You and Teddy are amazing. Keep working hard! Enjoy this great connection.

i hope my horse will trust me like this shes only 15 months old, shes a big sook. but im starting to do parelli with her like just groundwork and stuff i want to start desensitizing her to tarps and things but i dont know whether shes too young lol, hopefully ill be breaking her in some time next year 
but yeah, im pretty excited. awsome videos by the way

you are really inspiring. You and teddy have always been inspiring to me. It’s amazing that you’ve figured out your own way of working with teddy and both of you trust each other so much. It leaves me amazed.

what you are doing is bad! the horse will become completely bondproof and nothing will scare him! i know. thats what happened to my pony… im like, RAWR! and hes like *sigh*

ahhhh smart ponies will take over the world! hehe. Teddy is so pretty! good work with him! :3 Im raising a young one too, but shes a complete freak >.> unlike my bombproof pony.
